Notary services in Addison and across Dallas–Fort Worth

Every service below is performed by Gwen personally under her Texas notary public commission. She notarizes documents you provide: she does not prepare, draft, select or advise on documents.

Before you book

What a Texas notary cannot do

We do not write, fill out or choose your document

You bring the document already written and filled in, except for the signature. We cannot draft it, type it, fill in blanks for you, pick the right form, or choose the notarial wording. Get the document from whoever asked you for it (your lender, the court, the agency, the other party) or from a licensed Texas attorney.

No legal advice

We cannot tell you which document you need, what it means, or whether you should sign it. That is for someone licensed to practice law in Texas.

We cannot notarize without you there

Every signer must appear in person or in an approved online video session, with their own ID. Nobody can sign or appear for someone else.

No certified copies of birth, marriage or death certificates

Only the office that issued them can certify those. We can certify copies of many other documents, such as a diploma.

No weddings

Some states let a notary officiate a wedding. Texas does not (Texas Family Code § 2.202).

Service areas

Outside this list? We can still come to you (beyond about 20 driving miles the visit fee is quoted first), or meet online from anywhere in the U.S.

Tell us what you need and we will confirm the time and the cost

No commitment. You get the appointment time and the full cost in writing, the notarial fee and the travel fee itemized separately, before anything is booked.

We reply as soon as we can, usually the same business day.
